John Paul Murray: Principal
John Paul Murray is a licensed architect and the principal of caseworks. Mr. Murray holds a Bachelor of Architecture from The Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture of The Cooper Union, and a Master in Architecture from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. He is currently a member of the American Institute of Architects, and acted as President of the Board of Directors for a 159-unit residential cooperative building in New York City. Prior to launching caseworks, Mr. Murray served as senior project manager for a prestigious NYC architecture firm as well as a project manager of a national contracting firm. These diverse experiences have provided him with a well-rounded perspective of construction and architecture.
Carla Murray: Associate
Carla Murray is a LEED accredited professional and an associate and project manager of caseworks. She received her Bachelor of Architecture from The Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture of The Cooper Union and has been with caseworks since 2000. Carla is currently a member of the United States Green Building Council USGBC and the American Institute of Architects – A.I.A. Her area of concentration at caseworks includes exterior restoration and waterproofing as well as design. She has a highly technical knowledge base and has significant experience with the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission and the NYC Department of Buildings Façade Enforcement Unit.
Jay DeLuca: Associate
Jay DeLuca is a licensed architect and LEED accredited professional and an associate and project manager of caseworks. He received his architectural degree from The Ohio State University and spent the majority of his career in both design and production firms in Pittsburgh prior to moving to New York. His resume includes management of a diverse range of building types, with particular emphasis in corporate commercial, retail and healthcare. His work experience is comprised of a number of design-build and managed construction projects in addition to standard delivery methods, and contains a mix of renovation, new construction and interior commissions.
